There is no more important place to me in the world than northwest Illinois. My family, my home, and my business have always been here. I want to make sure that the opportunities that I have been afforded in this part of Illinois are available for generations to come. Northwest Illinois deserves a strong and independent voice to represent us in Springfield. I hope the voters in the 89th District will entrust me to be that voice next November. As an elected member of the Freeport City Council, I’ve been a strong advocate for more funding for public infrastructure, blight reduction, and law enforcement in Freeport. I’ve fought for streamlining and improving city services and changing city policies that promote healthy economic and community development and property improvements. We’ve made great strides over the past two years in changing how Freeport’s government operates and it’s that same commitment to change, progress, and working together to solve problems that I want to take with me to Springfield.
