We are a bookstore/coffeehouse situated 2 hrs. west of Chicago, 1 hr. south of Rockford and 1 hr. east of the Quad Cities. We have a great selection of Midwest history books, which customers comment on quite often. We also carry fiction, poetry, young adult, biography, gardening, and current events to name a few. We have a "west wing" addition that consists of a large selection of children's books and Melissa & Doug brand toys. And, we serve up not only brewed coffee, espresso drinks like espresso macchiatos and lattes and cold brewed, but also, teas, smoothies, bottled favorites like Izzi, Perrier and (Mexican) Coke and treats to eat (think muffins, scones, cookies, and more!)
