Welcome to Stichter Construction Company, Inc, family owned and operated. We are a fully bonded and insured construction and excavating business located in the Village of Erie, IL. We provide excellent service throughout Illinois and Iowa and offer a wide array of professional services to our clients. Stichter Construction Co. completes every excavating and construction job with pride. Due to our outstanding record of happy customers, much of our business is received by word of mouth. We are conveniently located off I-88 and Route 2. Allan Stichter, owner, worked at the Whiteside County Highway Department. Then with his dad at his excavating business before he started Stichter Construction Company, Inc. We incorporated in 1980. Al's wife, Diane, is the secretary-treasurer. Al and Diane's sons, Brandon, Brett, and Nathan, work for the company. Brandon is our project manager, operator, and estimator. Brett is our mechanic, operator, and manages the shop. Nathan is our operator, computer guy, and truck driver. We also have a full-time staff, and we add additional part-time employees during our busy season.
