Fear or Faith? fearful of the unknown future? Or even perhaps about the ever changing present? What about the events of the presidential election? All of us are surrounded with fear and unknown about the you virus that is challenging our nation and our up to date medical world. Education, how will the new methods work; will they work at all? When will life be normal again? There are many conflicting thoughts and ideas floating on many and various subjects, how can we possibly know who or what is correct? Malachi 3:6 for I am the LORD, I change not; therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. God, the creator of heaven and earth, (Genesis 1:1) is an unchanging God. Even when our world is full of confusion and many are debating who or what is right, we can trust an unchanging God. This unchanging God calls us to trust in Him and not to fear. Psalm 46: 1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." 1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." Which one is ruling your life, Fear or Faith? Fear destroys peace, it brings distrust in others, it causes one to always see the worst in everything. Faith brings peace. It chooses to trust, not in failing human beings, but in the unchanging God who is truly in control of all things. Faith chooses to see the positive instead of the negative. Choose faith it will make your life much more pleasant! Give your worries and fear to God, He will always stay awake to take care of things for you so that you can rest in peace! God can and will overrule in the affairs of men to bring about His perfect will!
